3rd Wedding Anniversary!!

WOW! 3 years! Where do I even begin.. These past 3 years have been AMAZING!! I love being a wife and love being married.. It is seriously the best thing ever! I love being able to share my life with someone!

To celebrate our anniversary we were thinking about going out of the country but planned it a little too late and with moving and our hectic schedule we decided to just spend 2 more days in Denver then in the past! It was so much fun... We went to a winery, and become a wine club member! Bring on the wine! It was nice to learn about all of the different wines, and just spend time with Luke! We drove down to Greeley to apartment hunt.. might sound boring for our anniversary but it was a lot of fun.. We even test drove my new "future" car!! :) and ended the first day eating dinner at Red Lobster.. YUMMY!!

The 2nd day was our actual anniversary! We went to the Denver Zoo.. It  was a lot of fun. We went to the puppy store and played with a goldendoodle.. (this is the same place we purchased both of our dogs and we would go on "dates" here all the time, brought back dating memories) We ended our day by celebrating at our small group.. It was the perfect anniversary!

Day 3- We woke up early to head to a ribbon cutting at the Culvers in Parker (Luke helped open that store) Culver's is kind of a big deal to us- I mean it's where we meant after all- We went shopping and bought each other watches! And ended the night with dinner at Melting Pot (tradition)

We had so much fun celebrating our anniversary! I can't believe it has been 3 years already! We have come so far in 3 short years! I wouldn't want it any other way!!

What I have learned about being a wife (so far)

It is the little things.. Some people say I go way out when it comes to celebrating our anniversaries.. It's stupid to make those shirts, why waste money on a photo shoot every year, the list goes on...

I feel like our weekly date nights, big celebrations, and the little things we do in our relationship is what keeps our relationship alive. We mix things up, it allows us to remember why we fell in love, it allows us to cherish our time together. We are both extremely busy working a lot that when we do get time together we don't take it for granted.. We don't have a perfect relationship by any means, and we are still learning and growing together..

We are in the process of making another big move! We will be moving to CO this summer.. Having to sell our house, find a new place to live, packing while still working crazy hours.. I am so excited for this big adventure and see where this will lead us..

That is about all for now.. Here is to another great year!

TOP 3 favorite pink papaya products!

I am trying to get more into this whole blogging thing... Since I now have an amazing business why not tell EVERYONE!!

be*YOU*tiful

Not only do I get to work from home, at my own time, and make money... but... I love the products.. Here are 3 of my favorite products.. (it was hard to pick only 3)

My number one favorite product would be the skin care line!! After trying the skin care line is when I decided to join such an amazing company! Not only has it made my face look and feel amazing but, I want to help others!

I have always struggled with acne. I tried face wash after face wash.. They seemed to work for a while and then BAM! stopped working.. then it happened!! I tried pink papaya Botanical Facial Wash Combination..

My personal results... Before, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 2 months
I use to be embarrassed to share this photo!! Why not show amazing results and that this product really does work!!

I bought the facetini ($32) for combination skin. Used the face wash, toner, and mask as a spot treatment. After a few weeks, for the first time ever my husband noticed!! He never notices when I change my hair color, or anything like that but he noticed my face! He said my face looked great!! :) THAT is when I KNEW it was working!! I still get hormonal acne sometimes but nothing like it was last maybe a day! Also it lasts FOREVER!!

Product # 2: Pore Perfecting Face Primer & Blemish Treatment Concealer  (okay okay, sorry 2 products) Primers help make up stay on, reduce redness, smoother make up, the list goes on. I love how long my make up stays on, and the way it makes my skin feel... I used this concealer a lot in the beginning while my face was clearing up and it does wonders. It covers up any blemishes, reduces redness and helps clear up blemishes. Now I don't use as much and less foundation too!

Product #3: Cranberry Orange Hand Scrub- This is one of our best sellers, and once you try it for the first time you will know why. This makes your hands feel so nice, and smells amazing. For best results use the shea butter hand creme after. You won't regret it..

Although this list could go on and on and on... I won't bore you anymore about these amazing products..

Products are made in the USA, no animal testing, natural, paraben free!

My WHY for Joining Direct Sales- Network Marketing

Speak Up.
Believe in Yourself.
Take Risks.

When you first sign up for direct sales, a lot of time your sponsor will ask you "why", "why did you join direct sales?" There are many reasons to be your own boss and start your own direct sales business. Be able to stay at home with children, make more money, pay off debt, etc. the list goes on...

When I first signed up to be a Pink Papaya consultant I wanted the discount, and possibly make some money. I loved the skin care line (and still do) I loved what it did for my skin. But I didn't tell many people about it. Almost like I was scared they would think I was stupid, scared of getting turned down and hearing no. Then life happened, I got busy with my full time job, and stopped promoting altogether.

Recently, I have decided to relaunch my business and go full blast with it. I'm not scared or embarrassed anymore. This is my business. Yes, the extra income is nice, being able to work from home is great, but that's not my WHY. My why is...

*so my husband and I can travel together when we want, to be able to create memories instead of working way too much just to pay bills.

After all there is no u-haul at the end of a hearse, it's about what we do and who we do it with. Living life to it's fullest.

*so we can start a family and spend as much time as possible with our children, so we can raise our children and not a day care.

*so I can bless people along the way, and give to those in need.

*so I can impact one persons life, (many people would be awesome too) I want to be able to motivate and help someone meet their goals. I want them to say "because of you I did this"

I am going after my dreams, one step at a time. It's not about how much I can sell in a month, it's about building a team of leaders, sharing amazing natural products, helping women feel beautiful in their own skin, watching others have their dreams come true, teaching women how to get pampered in their home without spending crazy amount of money, teaching others how to take care of their skin.

You can join me in this adventure, or you can sit back and watch my dreams come true.

A lot of people will say "I have to work, I can't afford to quit my full time job" Most people start direct sales as a part time job along side of their full time job. "I can't afford to start" It is an investment just like starting any business, luckily you can be your own boss, have your own business for as little as $99.. Most businesses to start are way more then that.

But why Pink Papaya

I have researched many other direct sale companies and have found Pink Papaya to fit my needs the best, easy comp plan, CEO is very involved, great incentives for consultants, the products are natural, it's a newer company so people are interested in it, I could go on and on. Most importantly I love the skin care, I am very passionate about our products and what they do, and who doesn't want to party for a living??

Imagine if you were one of the first hundred Mary Kay consultants, where would you be? Now is your chance to find out!

March Date 2015

You be the prince and I'll be the princess!

I can't believe March is half way done!

I knew I wanted to see Cinderella when it came out, and if it was one of the dates Luke would have no choice then to go! Luke went to Parker, CO for 2 weeks to help with a store opening. I didn't want to wait any longer for our date and what a perfect time in the middle of being away for 2 weeks.

I drove up to CO Thursday and stayed with my sister, Friday came and I was so excited to see Luke.. I did my make up, and hair got on my new Cinderella dress and started my 2 hour drive to Parker, CO.

I was so excited to not only see my favorite movie ever but to see my husband and spend time together. It was almost like we were dating again! The traffic was pretty bad so I ended up running behind. We ate dinner at Panera Bread and went to the movie. I stayed the night in Parker with him. We had such a great night!

One of my favorite dates so far!! :)

February Date 2015

So far we have been sticking to our monthly dates! February was a busy month for us, we went to Texas the first week for a Culvers Reunion and 2 weeks later went to Florida for a 5k (more on that later)

I knew we didn't have a lot of time in town, and since I love Disney so much I thought what a perfect place for a date! I chose to go to the beauty and the beast restaurant, Be Our Guest.

Belles Castle

My husband is so great he waited in line for an hour because he knew how much it meant to me to eat there. It was so much fun.

We also stayed at a really fancy hotel for 2 nights. It is the hotel that I wanted to get married at, the most expensive hotel on Disney, The Grand Floridian. It truly was a dream come true.
Of course we had to get dessert

January 2015 Date

For Luke's birthday I got him 12 pre-paid dates! Every month of 2015 I have planned and pre-paid for 1 date a month. I got him a scrapbook and put an envelope in a pocket with a note card explaining the date! I will be taking pictures and add them to the scrapbook!

Luke has been trying to get me to go skiing with him since the day we met. I thought what a better date in January! Luke loves snowboarding. He would go every day if he could.
Since this was my first time skiing, and Luke has never skied before he came up with us both taking a lesson then we would have a chance to spend the day together instead of me taking a lesson and him snowboarding.
We had so much fun learning something new to the both of us.

We left Scottsbluff at 3am. Drove up to Copper Mountain and got checked in for our lesson and fitted for our skis. Our lesson was from 9:00-12:30. We learned the basics, went up a lift and skied down a little "hill."

When we were practicing turning and downing down in the practice area I thought "this is easy and so fun. Lets do down the mountain now." The time came to use the lift and go up the mountain. It was a lot harder then I expected. I couldn't figure out how to stop and just fell over. Going fast and not being able to stop is a little scary. Luke did great. He now loves skiing and can't wait to go again.

We went to Fort Collins to pick up our dogs from doggie day camp and ate Panera for dinner.

It was a very fun but long and tiring day. I will go again, but don't think I could make a hobby of it. Practice makes perfect!

These dates are so much fun and this was only the first one! Can't wait for February's date
