last year VS this year

“HERE’S TO US. HERE’S TO ORDERING A SALAD WHEN YOU REALLY WANT A BURGER. TO MAKING AN ASS OUT OF OURSELVES IN CARDIO HIP HOP CLASS. TO DRINKING MORE WATER THAN SEEMS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. TO GOING FIVE MORE MINUTES ON THE ELLIPTICAL. TO SAYING “SCREW YOU” TO THE OLD YOU. TO FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE YOU WHO YOU WANT TO BECOME. TO LOOKING IN THE MIRROR AND NOT SEEING ANY CHANGE, THROWING ON YOUR RUNNING SHOES AND WORKING OUT ANYWAY. TO LOOKING IN THE MIRROR AND SEEING MAJOR CHANGE. HERE'S TO CARROTS AND SHIN SPLINTS, AND SWEATY TSHIRTS, AND PERSEVERANCE, AND SORE MUSCLES, AND STINKY SOCKS, AND 7AM, AND SPIN CLASSES, AND FALLING DOWN, AND GETTING BACK UP, AND BOTTLED WATER. HERE’S TO GETTING UP EVERY DAY AND DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN.”

As many of you know I have started my fitness journey in March! Here is a little background and my thoughts toward living a healthy lifestyle!

First off, I am human. I'm not perfect.. I have excuses, I have cravings, I have cheat meals, & I give in to not so clean food. This brings me to my first point. I am a firm believer of not cutting out your favorite foods! By cutting out certain food it makes you want it even more because you "can't" have it. Also once you eat the food you cut out you will gain all your weight back. Living a healthy lifestyle is ALL about clean eating and portion control!

and it's not even that I don't want too. It's just that it's not worth it. So I don't. Or try not too ... most of the time ;)

Portion control is key to a healthy lifestyle, and to get the  body you always wanted. The way I learned portion control is by using the 21 day fix. The 21 day fix comes with containers for each food group. You are allowed a certain amount of each container per day. (for more info email me cweighner@gmail.com) I still eat out, just pick healthy options. I still eat chocolate and ice cream but in portions. I hate when people say that they can't eat this or that.

I have had many people tell me I don't need to loose weight, & I don't need to be on a diet. I'm not on a diet. I simply changed my lifestyle and am living a healthier life. I was never overweight, but I let myself go. I wasn't happy with myself when I had to buy bigger pants, or when I had to change my outfits multiple times before finding one that fit. I didn't like what I saw in the mirror. I thought I could eat whatever I wanted and not work out.

I first heard about shakeology and beachbody in fall of 2013. I tried the sample packets and didn't "love" it. I wanted to order t25 but just couldn't see spending so much money. I made excuses. My coach then told me about the 21 day fix, I again made excuses and didn't order.. I finally sucked it up in March in ordered! I loved it, the work outs are fun, and short. Shakeology grew on me and now I LOVE it.. I canceled my monthly subscription after the first month.

Committed to Get Fit:

That is when I realize how much I really did love shakeology. I felt tired, I didn't do my work outs, I had cravings. I then ordered a piyo challenge pack and became a coach.

I love being a beachbody coach because I love seeing people hitting their goals, and being excited about their results.

I noticed results in my clothes and pictures. Pictures are a must..

Like I said before I'm not perfect. In the past 9 months I have gave up, I have thought I don't need to be healthy anymore, I did enough. I have fell off the wagon more then once. But I get right back up and keep going at it. I am currently doing insanity max:30. I have maintained my goal weight, and continuing seeing results.

DIY Christmas Card Holder

I am in charge of womens clinics at work and have to come up with different crafts to do.. this was a big hit.. We always get so many christmas cards but never have any where to display them. Can't wait to start using it..

Working at The Home Depot, I got all of my supplies there.

Supplies:
>> 4ft Common board
>> Red, Green, Grey, & White Paint samples (or any colors you want)
>> Paint Brushes
>> Clothes Pins (I used 24)
>> Spray Paint ( I used gloss apple red)
>> Super Glue

First paint the board white,

While that is drying spray paint clothes pins

Once the board is dried decorate it how ever you would like..
I can't draw for the life of me so I cheated and printed off letters from word and traced them on my board..

Super glue the clothes pins on

&& you are done..

Under the Sea, Under the Sea!!

Halloween 2014 is over!

I decided I wanted to dress up at work this year. Of course I went to pinterest right away and pinned a few ideas.. I thought of cinderella, but didn't have blonde hair anymore. I colored my hair red not too long ago so went with Ariel..

a few supplies

I then thought of dressing my dogs up as Sebastian and Flounder. I made their costumes..

Kiara was Flounder.

Supplies:
Blue Felt
Yellow little kid shirt
Light blue glitter
Needle
Thread
Yellow felt
Elastic
Yellow & Blue tulle

First I made the fin, and the blue stripes. I added light blue glitter to the fins. I don't have a sewing machine so I hand sewed the fin and stripes on.

I made a little tutu as well.
I used the yellow felt for a hat to make the head. added eyes and the costume was done!

Lady was Sebastian.

Supplies:
Red Tulle
Elastic
Red Felt
Red Pipe Cleaners
Red Kid Shirt
Red Snow hat

Lady's was a little easier. I made a red tutu, super glued the pipe cleaners for the legs, made claws out of felt and added the eyes to the hat.

My Ariel costume was a tutu, a white shirt that I painted sea shells on it and super glued a star fish to a headband.

I outlined it with paint

Then added glitter and painted it in all the way

Of course being a cosmetologist I had to do my nails too!

Other Photos!

Prince Eric was pretty easy, jeans, white dress shirt and a red sash

50th PAR-TEE Cammarata Style

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been busy working and not doing too many exciting things.. Last weekend we went to Wisconsin for my dad's 50th birthday party. It was a lot of fun, but a very short time.

We left Friday to head to Denver and stay the night, We had a very early flight on Saturday. We flew from Denver to Minneapolis. It is about a 3 1/2 hour car ride from MN to Rapids. It was nice to see my parents, sister, aunt, and some family friends (haven't seen them in forever.) We just hung out and waited for my brother and his family. Luke, my brother, sister in law, Jessica, and I all went to see The Maze Runner. It was a really good movie. I normally don't like movies like that, I'm more of a chic flick girl, but it was good.

Sunday was party day. The theme of the party was Hawaiian. Jessica and I went on a Hawaiian clothes hunt.. We ended up finding a lot of things at Goodwill. It's always fun shopping even if it's only for Hawaiian clothes. At the party we ate (of course) I gave a speech for my dad, and had a photo booth.
Birthday Boy
My nephew Zane
ALEX
Niece Lexie Joy
On Monday we went to pick out my dads birthday present.. Luke & I got him a Goldendoodle.. She was the last golden female. Her name is Belle (notice another Disney name) and adorable. We also went to Madison to take our family friends to the airport.
Tuesday was leaving day. Melanie, Gil, Luke, Elycia, and I left to head to Minneapolis to fly home. We went early so we could do some shopping at the Mall of America. We went to the airport to check in and was told that our reservations were for September 24 (the next day). We went over to the other airlines to see if we could catch a flight, Delta had one flight left the price was.. drumroll please....... $1000 yes you read that correctly. ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS a seat. We ended up staying in a hotel and changing our flight to Wednesday morning at 6am. We both worked all day on Wednesday so lets just say it was a very very long day...

Of course I couldn't be home and not put on my wedding dress.. *note my dress didn't fit me last winter* && IT FITS!!
The rest of the week was just working long days. Next weekend I am going to Denver to a hair show with a good friend. I'm pretty excited.. :) That is all for now.. Until next time! :)

My Lifestyle Change...

First off, I am not one to talk to much about my personal fitness/weight loss. I have had many people ask what I have been doing, and what is shakeolgoy..  so lets hurry and get this done with.

Slowly but surely my clothes kept getting smaller and smaller.. My first thought was that these clothes are from high school and it's okay.. I sold most of my jeans and bought some bigger ones.. No big deal everyone needs bigger jeans at some point.. I was tired of not feeling pretty, not loving what I was seeing in the mirror. I knew I wasn't "fat" but I wasn't in shape either. I didn't eat healthy, and ate what I wanted when I wanted..

One day I was on Facebook and came across Lyndsay, (not real sure how but so glad I did) She is a beachbody coach and introduced me to beachbody. I ordered a few samples of shakeology but wasn't hooked.. Thought it was way too expensive, didn't see the benefits, etc.. About 6 months later Lyndsay told me about a new program that came out 21 day fix. (so glad she didn't give up on me)

The 21 day fix is a 21 day fitness program that helps with portion control. It also comes with a 30 minute a day workout as well as a daily shake. I thought this was something I could do. I took the plunge and bought the challenge pack.

BEST DECISION EVER!!

My journey really started then...

I'm so glad I was introduced to SHAKEOLOGY!! The healthiest meal of the day!

What is shakeology?
Shakeology is so incredibly healthy, there's no other single food item out there that can supply you with all the nutrients, vitamins, proteins, and minerals in the amounts you need the way one delicious shake can.

____________________________________________
Throughout this journey (still in progress) I learned a lot about my eating habits.  I was eating way to many carbs and not nearly enough vegetables. I learned how to eat what I wanted but in small amounts. I learned that getting in shape is a lifestyle change not a diet. I also learned that it is all about 20% working out 80% in the kitchen. You can't out work a bad diet.

I didn't realize how much weight I gained until I looked at pictures from the past. Now when I look at pictures I think "why didn't anyone tell me"

I fell in love with working out, eating healthy, and shakeology. I have decided to become a beachbody coach so I can help other meet their fitness goals. I am so excited about continuing this journey and would love to help anyone I can.. It is such a great feeling looking at that scale and seeing the numbers go down or fitting into those jeans that use to be so tight.

The best thing is I changed my lifestyle. I still go out to eat, I still eat chocolate and junk food just in moderation.

Although my story isn't about me losing 50 plus lbs, I still have a success story. I ended up losing 20 lbs, maintaining it, and feeling a lot better about myself. Also fit into my smaller size jeans! :)

If you have any questions on shakeology, beachbody, or anything please feel free to email me at getfitwithchelsea1@gmail.com

Friendships.

A friendship is not being inseparable
it's being separated and
nothing changes.

Friends. Friends are great, they are needed during good times and bad. But, what is the definition of a "friend"? What is the difference between a friend and an acquaintance? Where do we draw the fine line between a friend and a best friend? What makes a best friend?

These are questions I often ask myself. Yes, I have friends. My husband is one of my best friends. The type of friendship my husband and I have is a different friendship between one of my girlfriends. Everyone needs that friend you can call up no matter what time it is and know that they will be there with a listening ear.

All through my life I have struggled with friends. Sure, I have had many friends, and always had someone to hang out with. This brings me to first question, what is the difference between a friend and an acquaintance? I feel like everyone has a different definition. My definition of an acquaintance would be someone you know. Someone you have hung out with maybe a few times, a Facebook friend.

As we grow up, we realize it becomes less important to have a ton of friends, and more important to have real ones.

There have been different events in my life where I have felt my true friends (I would say best friends) shine through. One of them is moving 16 hours away right after high school. At the moment I found out who my true friends were. The ones who have stayed in touch throughout the past 5 years.
Another event was when I got married. Being one of the first of my friends to get married some feel it is harder to connect with me. (makes sense) Then again very few "friends" have stayed in touch since my wedding. This brings me to another question, What makes a best friend? The difference between a best friend and a friend would be the best friend is there for you know matter what, puts the same amount of effort in the relationship, someone you can count on at all times, someone you can share secrets with. A friend is one step below that. You still can count on them, but don't get to terribly upset when they let you down, someone you have fun with and have hung out with more then a handful of times. Someone you share memories with, but not as depth as a best friend. A best friend is also someone who is honest  with you about anything, someone that can tell you what they feel without the worry of you hating them because of the unspoken trust and know they have your best interest.

Friendship is hard, just like any relationship it takes 2. One person can't give it their all while the other sits there not trying. It takes effort from both individuals, they both have to work at it and want to continue being friends. Both parties have to be on the same page, are we besties, or just friends?

Over the years I have learned it doesn't matter how many friends you have all that matters is who is there for you no matter what. Who would do anything for you? I have also learned it is not easy making new friends the older you get. I feel like it was so much easier to make friends when all you had to worry about was who wanted to play barbies, and color with you.

It sucks losing friends, especially best friends. It sucks looking through photos and remembering all the memories you have made together. It almost feels like a break up. It's sad how some people will let a boy or another friend or a few miles get in the way of your friendship. I am a firm believer that if you want to make a relationship work then it will be very successful.

Best Friend Quotes even if you have a bad dream @Skylar Eager Eager Eager Stickley

I would like to thank my friends, the ones who have stuck by me through thick and thin. The ones who I know I can count on no matter what. The ones that still stay in contact over the years.

Seven Confessions...

SEVEN CONFESSIONS OF ME!!
Chelsea Renee (Cammarata) Weighner

"The spitting image of my father
And when the day is done
My momma's still my biggest fan

Sometimes I'm clueless and I'm clumsy
But I've got friends that love me
And they know just where I stand
It's all a part of me
And that's who I am"

Things you may (or may not) know about me...

ONE: I love to shop, and might be a little high maintenance at times..

Okay... Okay.. this might not be news, but what you don't know is... I shop sales racks, clearance, when it comes to online shopping I add things to my shopping cart for weeks before I make a purchase.. I have horrible buyers remorse..

TWO: Planner

I am a planner, my whole life I have been a planner. For as long as I could remember, I had my whole life planned out...

Graduate High School
Move to Colorado

Go to CSU to be a Vet
Get Married at 20
Be a Large Animal Vet in San Diego

This was my plan, my life, my everything. Although a few of those things didn't happen, I'm perfectly fine with how my life turned out (so far) and I'm loving every second of it..

I loved planning my wedding, and if I ever move to a big city I would love to be a wedding planner!

Pinterest is def my favorite thing of all!

With that being said...

THREE: Baby Fever to the MAXXXX!!!

Yes, I have baby fever. I want to be a mom, and have a mini me..
{but now is not the time, and I'm perfectly okay with that!}

Going back to being a planner...

I have my whole nursery planned, all of my parties planned (baby shower, sip and see, gender reveal party, etc), I know how I'm going to announce my pregnancy, my birth and everything in between!!

Yes, I understand life happens and things change!

FOUR: Before I was 7 I have lived in more states then I can count on one hand

I was born in Panama. I lived there until I was 3. From age 3-7 we moved, a lot! We lived in

Washington
Colorado (3 different times)
Connecticut
Arizona
Illinois
Wisconsin
(think that is it)

Thanks to us moving a lot, I am okay with packing everything up and moving, I love to travel and see new things.

FIVE: I am an open book!

What was your first guess? I'm a blog writer!

I have nothing to hide, ask me anything and I will share. My thoughts are if you don't like me for me then that is not my problem!

I am very honest. I am not shy, I will tell you what is on my mind.. Don't worry about me hiding behind the bush.. This gets me in trouble..

SIX: I am a Fitness JUNKIE!!

I recently have started a fitness, getting in shape, losing weight journey (more on this in a later post)
I have lost 18 lbs since March. (and maintaining it)
I LOVE MY DAILY SHAKEOLOGY!!!!

I recently signed up to be a Beachbody coach so I can help other meet their fitness goals as well.
I enjoy eating healthy, and some what enjoy working out! I love the after feeling the best!!

SEVEN: My best friend and I have been friends for... 14 years

Miss. Katie Elizabeth Gauthier and I have been best friends for the past 14 years..

Although we live in different states, and don't see each other often we are still BFF and start right where we left off..
We talk via text, Facebook, phone often.

When we are together people think we are drunk when in reality we just have so much fun together..
Yes, we have had ups and downs but no matter what I know I can count on this girl to the end, and she will ALWAYS be there for me (&& I will always be there for her too)
