2 Years Down... Forever To Go!!!!

Let's rewind to 2 1/2 months ago!

Our 2nd wedding anniversary!!

Since our anniversary was on a Monday we decided we would go to Denver the weekend after to celebrate!

I left for a week of training on our anniversary. I wanted to make our anniversary special especially since I wouldn't be there all day! 2nd wedding anniversary is the Cotton Anniversary. I am  "that wife" and went all out with the cotton theme the day of our anniversary. I made cotton candy cupcakes, gave him cotton swabs, made a cotton sign. This is what Luke woke up to!

We ending up going to lunch together at Chili's to celebrate before I left for my training..

On Saturday, we left to head to Denver. We stayed downtown at the Hyatt Hotel, it was really fancy! After we got engaged we went to the Melting Pot, for your 1st anniversary, and then again for our 2nd. We love the Melting Pot. The atmosphere is great, and perfect for any special date. The food is amazing as well. For those of you who have never been I highly recommend it. It is a fondue restaurant. You never leave hungry since it's a 4 course meal. First you get to choose a salad, then a cheese fondue served with apples, veggies, and bread. Next is the main course, raw meat that you cook yourself in a fondue pot. Lastly is the best, chocolate fondue served with cheesecake, brownies, marshmallows, pound cake, strawberries, and bananas.

We also did a photo shoot. This is going to be a yearly thing for all anniversaries. The photo shoot was in Denver done by JRanae Photography. It was so much fun. You will notice in a few pictures we having matching shirts. I order us anniversary shirts every year. ( I will save them all and once we have a lot will make a quilt with all of them)

My gift was the best. Luke got me a Micheal Kors purse. Not only a purse but a wallet too!! I have always wanted one. The best part is it was a total surprise and he picked it out all on his own.

I got Luke a set of golf irons. Since I couldn't pick them out myself I gave him the cash and a few smaller gifts for him to open! :)
Luke's Golf Irons!

*2 shoes- 2 years running strong!
*24 Kisses- 24 months together, 1 kiss for each month
*104 dollar bills- 104 weeks together is worth more then anything money can buy.
*730 mini m&ms (yes, I counted all of them)- 730 sweet days with you!

All of those were in a tool box as well as a golfing shirt.

We had a lot of fun spending 2 nights in Denver and getting away. Can't wait for many more years to come!!
